Facts About The White Speck Moth:

  • Found throughout North America, South America, Southern Europe, Africa and parts of Asia
  • Wingspan is 1.61 – 1.90 inches (41 – 48 mm), with forewings 0.70 – 0.83 inches (18 -21 mm)
  • Primary colors are a brownish gray, hints of orange and with a white speck on each wing
  • They are found throughout the year in most areas, abundantly during August thru October
  • White Speck Moths feed on most true grasses
