Ocean City Aves Anseriformes

Anseriformes include, but are not limited to Ducks, Geese, Screamers, Swans, and Waterfowl. The Ocean City Wildlife Project: Today and Tomorrow will document the Anseriformes in the Ocean City MD area, primarily, with a secondary focus on the Lower Shore and Southern Delaware areas.

In the Order Anseriformes there are 3 Families, consisting of 150 Living Species. There are, also, 4 Extinct Families in the Order Anseriformes, learn more about extinct and endangered birds in Endangered and Extinct Birds (Lightning Bolt Books – Animals in Danger). The last column in the following table we will list the number of documented Anseriformes we have found here in the Ocean City area. Following the table we will share with you photographs, videos, basic bios and links to assist you in continuing to learn more about the Ocean City Birds in the Order Anseriformes.
